How is remote patient monitoring done?

Patients use connected devices to take physiological readings at home, data is transmitted to their doctor, and monitored by a clinical team.

Patients use connected devices (defined as a medical device by the FDA) to take physiological readings at home.  Devices can use either cellular or Bluetooth technology to automatically transmit the data to your HIPAA-compliant RPM software.  Then, your clinical monitoring team can analyze the data and engage with patients directly from the platform.  You can set thresholds for readings by patient.  Your team will receive real-time alerts when a patient's reading is above or below that threshold.
